How would you know do you sniff ass? |
thank God I taught my children to take a shower 1 time a day before going to bed, and also to brush their teeth. To do this, I had to brush my teeth in the evening, too, to show them an example, and my children, after coming to the bathroom, also brush their teeth. Of course, I had to bribe them that for each brushing of teeth they would receive $ 1 each, as well as $ 2 for taking a bath. Parenthood is a time of compromise, hopefully they won't want to raise the fee... |
95% of the time yes. If they get back super late or they're not feeling well, I would let them skip a night, but with active athletic kids (particularly those who are tween and beyond with body odor), skipping a day is not a good thing. I also think that a shower helps kids sleep better at night if they've relaxed and aren't dirty/sweaty from the day. |
You change underwear twice a day?! |

Yes crusty underwear begets more crusty underwear |
This sounds like a personal problem. I’ve never experienced this. Maybe get it looked at. |

Sorry that my vagina leaks and my preparation H leaves a residue. Please tell me why I should be ashamed for normal bodily functions? |
This explains why so many kids stink! We will have kids over and the funk is crazy. My kids shower most nights. My boy with long hair washes it every other day. My short haired boy every day. I try to get them to alternate sneakers too to keep those from getting too funky.

I have to be firm sometimes and “make” them. Otherwise I try to let them make their own decisions. Ages 10 and 12. |

It's one (disgusting) thing to not shower daily. It's another (delusional) thing to try to convince others that not showering daily is somehow the correct thing to do. |
You’ve also taught your kid that you’ll pay them to comply - if I was your kid I’d see how far I could push that. Throw a fit - get money - throw a fit - get a toy. Good job. |
