Which is not a condition to be joked about.

It isn’t as if you have much control over what your body does while pregnant

I didn’t see a joke about it. Why are you so triggered?

Maybe PP had preeclampsia. Have some compassion. Wth is wrong with you?

I had preeclampsia which is why I mentioned it! You didn’t consider that?! Why are you so quick to ascribe negative intentions to my comment?

Vanessa is one of those people who carries weight really well. She would look very weird if she got very skinny.

Ok? She has never been overweight so I’m not sure how you know this? She’s always looked normal and healthy to me.

But I think some of you just have something broken inside your brain to continue to say “well, she DID get fat and she IS going to have trouble losing the weight” it may or may not be true, but you still are making this sound like she has failed already at pregnancy, tsk, tsk. As I said, broken brain to think you’re just being “factual” - no, you are lacking in EQ. Just stop ripping on a pregnant woman-it’s what decent people would do.

It’s interesting how tone can be entirely misread on message boards. I definitely didn’t post with the intent to say she’s failing at pregnancy. If anything, I feel bad for her!

Why do you feel bad for her? She’s pregnant and gained weight which is normal and she’ll lose all the weight after. That’s what celebrities do. Your tone is condescending and judgy but I’m sure she’s a million times prettier than you, even if she kept the weight on.

Wow. Talk about tone! I feel bad that’s she’s gained weight all over and not just in her belly because it’s harder to lose afterwards. It’s that simple.

Why are you now insulting me? I never insulted anyone’s looks.

Like another PP said you have low EQ if you really have no idea how condescending you sound. So stop with the stupid advice about tone and the concern trolling in general.

Another insult! It’s funny how people resort to insults when they realize they are just plain wrong.

Fact: I stated that Vanessa has gained weight all over and it would be harder to lose after. Never once said she’s failing at pregnancy or the like.

There’s a possibility she could end up with pre eclampsia. A lot of pregnant women due in the summer tend to swell more and end up with it.

The fact was that was exactly what I said. I didn’t say she was failing at pregnancy. You don’t seem to get logic and reasoning.

I came here to say this. Didn't even recognize her!

Sometimes it is inevitable. Not everyone is lucky enough to have the perfect basketball belly. I developed a thyroid disease during my first pregnancy that I now have for life, most likely triggered by my extreme morning sickness at the beginning of my pregnancy (the docs wouldn’t call it HG, but I was threatened with iv feeding if anti-nausea meds didn’t work for me.

Give people growing a human inside of them a little grace, please.

All I said was a fact: she will have to work hard to get all that weight off.

I did not not give grace.

I don’t think you understand the meaning of the word fact.

You stated an opinion.

So it is not true she won’t have to work hard to get the weight off? Is it also not true either that she has gained weight all over instead of just in her stomach?

No that is not true. She may drop the weight, she may need to work it off, nobody knows.

I agree she gained weight all over but I can’t say it’s a fact she gained more weight than most nor do I think it’s a fact that it’s easier to lose belly only weight vs weight all over.

Actually just looks like a whole bunch of water weight in my OPINION.

New PP here and I was someone who gained all over and it never all came
Off at 28. I’m still far heavier than the friends who gained belly only.

So?

So this supports the notion that it is harder to take weight off when it’s all over.

Losing weight from all over your body as opposed to just a targeted spot like your stomach area after pregnancy is a lot harder. Have you ever had a baby?

Have you ever ever tried to lose weight? Because everyone who actually has knows that it’s impossible to lose in a “targeted spot.” You’re using photographs of a pregnant woman who dared to appear in public having gained weight like a normal woman as a way to express your twisted views about women’s beauty standards. You have issues.

It seems any thread involving aging famous women with high-risk geriatric pregnancies always triggers a few crazies on DCUM.

Yes. Neither was easier/harder.

That’s you option or experience. It’s not mine

Also I lost weight faster than all my friends no matter how much I gained or where.

Pretty much nobody who has their stomach stretch out like an alien vs all over ever recovers from that baring serious help from a trainer or doctor.
