Agree. At her age it's going to be tough.

+1. Should have had a baby with Zak Efron or the Elvis kid 10 years ago. It’s not like she did anything of note the last 10 years. What a waste of time.

What they hell is wrong with some of you?

I came here to say this. Didn't even recognize her!

Sometimes it is inevitable. Not everyone is lucky enough to have the perfect basketball belly. I developed a thyroid disease during my first pregnancy that I now have for life, most likely triggered by my extreme morning sickness at the beginning of my pregnancy (the docs wouldn’t call it HG, but I was threatened with iv feeding if anti-nausea meds didn’t work for me.

Give people growing a human inside of them a little grace, please.

All I said was a fact: she will have to work hard to get all that weight off.

I did not not give grace.

I don’t think you understand the meaning of the word fact.

You stated an opinion.

It is a scientific fact your body bounces back exponentially faster and easier in your 20s vs mid 30s pregnancy. But Vanessa can take the injections everyone in Hollywood is on I guess.

Maybe just work on your misogyny and body image issues with a therapist instead of projecting them onto other women.

So it is not true she won’t have to work hard to get the weight off? Is it also not true either that she has gained weight all over instead of just in her stomach?

No that is not true. She may drop the weight, she may need to work it off, nobody knows.

I agree she gained weight all over but I can’t say it’s a fact she gained more weight than most nor do I think it’s a fact that it’s easier to lose belly only weight vs weight all over.

Actually just looks like a whole bunch of water weight in my OPINION.

New PP here and I was someone who gained all over and it never all came
Off at 28. I’m still far heavier than the friends who gained belly only.

.

She was with Austin Bulter for 10 years before he got Elvis and Dune. I don't think she cares about that stuff.

Plus she has an entertainment career. You don’t need kardashian level wealth to raise a child.

It is harder to drop weight all over than just if your belly got big from pregnancy.

She should have had a baby with Zac Efron at 20?

Not really.

Less stretch marks too.

I believe it’s a fact that when you compare 1 person to themselves , me @ 20 vs me @ 30’s “bouncing back” is quicker.

But if you compare me @ 30 vs you @ 20 I don’t believe it’s a fact you would bounce back faster.

Do you know what human biology is? Do you know what metabolism is? Hormonal changes? How you lose so much lean muscle after 30? And she's no longer a 20-something idle rich Hollywood actress who can just go see a trainer five days a week. She's going to be a late 30s woman chasing around a toddler. It's HARD. I speak from experience.

So? I had a child in my 30’s and it was easy peasy.

Maybe it’s just you.

We all know this (at least we should), but the original poster made it sound like she was stupid for gaining weight while pregnant. It isn't a human failing or flaw if your body gains weight in places other than your belly while pregnant. That is also genetics.

Do you think I wanted to drop 15 lbs in a month while puking my guts out? No. I then got back to my pre-pg weight + 30 lbs (give or take a couple) So, all told, I lost and gained 60 lbs over the course of my pregnancy. On a 115-ish lb frame. Pregnancy was a struggle, so having a healthy pregnancy diet or exercising were not top of mind. Getting any food in and staying in and moving when I could were my goals.

I actually dropped weight quick post pregnancy, but that was because my thyroid went completely out of whack. My stomach never returned to pre-pg, though.

I really just think people need to remember that every body and every pregnancy is different. It isn't a race and you don't win an award for being the perfect pregnant lady.

Like I said, give the chick a break. You have no idea what she may have gone through behind the scenes - maybe she did IVF? And why are we giving her crap for "waiting" - she wasn't married to the other 2 guys. While I realize that isn't a requirement, some people do think it best to be in a committed relationship before reproducing.

I don't even care about VH, but y'all need to keep your opinions on her reproductive choices and pregnancy body to yourselves.

Sure. It’s not like she was in college or launching a career. 15 years of birth control and partying…now having a first kid with an ugly borderline pro baseball player at age 35.

You’re clearly lying. It is not “easy peasy” to drop 100 pounds at age 35 or 36 with a newborn. Nobody who actually dropped the weight at that age would ever call it easy.

Here is my post. I did not imply anywhere she was stupid for gaining weight!

It’s unfortunate when that happens because it does make it harder to lose the weight, but yes it can be just genetics. It sort of reminded me of Eva Longoria, who also was the same way.

Why? She’s having a baby now at the right time for her, and Zac Efron would have been a terrible baby daddy. Some people HATE hate hate seeing women control their fertility and give lie to the idea that women “lose their value” at 22.
