Which is not a condition to be joked about.

It isn’t as if you have much control over what your body does while pregnant

I didn’t see a joke about it. Why are you so triggered?

Maybe PP had preeclampsia. Have some compassion. Wth is wrong with you?

+1

Your post just comes off like her being puffy and swollen is her fault and dang, doesn't she know preeclampsia is an issue?

I'm sure she's already crazy self conscious about being puffy. Again, let's remember that we have very little control over how our body reacts to pregnancy. Remember Jessica Simpson?

The poster about is right - there is no way to win with this crowd. I just hope VH has a happy and healthy rest of her pregnancy and enjoys her little one when he/she arrives.

Why is a washed up child actress even at the Oscars?

If she had a baby in her 20's, you'd all be saying what an idiot she is...she had her whole career ahead of her and now she'll have to give it all up. Instead, she's having a baby in her 30's and you're like "she's too old! She wasted her life!". If she hadn't gained weight while pregnant, you'd be like "she's too thin, it's bad for her and the baby". But she did gain weight (like most pregnant women) and you're like "she's too fat, it's bad for her and the baby". Good lord. Women can't win.

Congrats to Vanessa on starting her family when it was right for her. Maybe, just maybe, she has reasons for the things she does in her private life, just like all of us!

What career? She has done nothing in ten plus years. Music festivals and instagram posts?

She was in those princess switch movies and did some Broadway, according to wiki:

Since the release of her studio albums and the High School Musical franchise, Hudgens has focused on her acting career. She appeared in the films Bandslam (2009), Beastly, Sucker Punch (both 2011), Journey 2: The Mysterious Island, Spring Breakers (both 2012), Second Act (2018), Bad Boys for Life (2020), and Tick, Tick...Boom! (2021). She starred in the Netflix Christmas movies The Princess Switch (2018) and its sequels (2020 and 2021) and The Knight Before Christmas (2019), and co-produced the latter three.

Hudgens played the role of Emily Locke in the NBC series Powerless (2017). She made her Broadway debut playing the title role in the musical revival of Gigi (2015) and had roles in two of Fox's live musical productions: Rizzo in Grease Live! (2016) and Maureen Johnson in Rent: Live (2019). In 2022, Hudgens co-hosted the Met Gala in Manhattan.

Yeah- she does red carpet stuff. It’s an entertainment industry career. Lots of c& d-list stars pivot to that. Kristin cavalerri did red carpets for a long time. No shame in that. Not every actor can make a living in that profession. I’m sure Vanessa is making six figures in her freelance-type jobs and whatever sponsored ads she does. She’s not loaded but she’s doing just fine.

I say again - pregnancy weight gain and loss is largely a factor of genetics. I mean, don’t gorge yourself while pregnant and try to exercise and eat a reasonable diet after pregnancy. Moderation is always best.

But I think some of you just have something broken inside your brain to continue to say “well, she DID get fat and she IS going to have trouble losing the weight” it may or may not be true, but you still are making this sound like she has failed already at pregnancy, tsk, tsk. As I said, broken brain to think you’re just being “factual” - no, you are lacking in EQ. Just stop ripping on a pregnant woman-it’s what decent people would do.

I heard that she was great in Gigi. She’s a triple threat.

I didn’t know her and enjoyed learning more about her and the house she bought from Gary Oldman. Really interesting to see what she did with the house and learn some of the history.

No one is ripping on a pregnant woman. I’m sure you are the same poster who claimed everyone was blaming Kody for his son’s death in another thread.

I made an observation - she has gained weight all over. That will make it harder to lose weight. Most people would agree. I’m sorry this is triggering for you in some way.

It’s interesting how tone can be entirely misread on message boards. I definitely didn’t post with the intent to say she’s failing at pregnancy. If anything, I feel bad for her!

I don’t know who tf Kody is

You’re never going to get it and it is pointless arguing over this anymore.

As someone said earlier, keep being troll-y

No I get it. Unfortunately, the observations I made about her weight gain were viewed as being negative and how I am ripping her pregnancy and how I said she’s failing at it. That’s the furthest thing from what I was thinking when I posted that.

And for the record, I’m not the one who said she’s too old to have a baby. That was someone else jumping in.

Why do you feel bad for her? She’s pregnant and gained weight which is normal and she’ll lose all the weight after. That’s what celebrities do. Your tone is condescending and judgy but I’m sure she’s a million times prettier than you, even if she kept the weight on.

Wow. Talk about tone! I feel bad that’s she’s gained weight all over and not just in her belly because it’s harder to lose afterwards. It’s that simple.

Why are you now insulting me? I never insulted anyone’s looks.
