Aren't you a Prvileged Peter!! Don't you know not everyone has a warm car to drive around it? Some people actually have to walk

You don't have a car, and yet, you have a phone, tablet or computer and internet... hum...

???? You think that everyone who has a phone has a car?

Oh well plan ahead

Or MCPS could plan better and not call snow days unnecessarily.

DCUM is practically preparing you now.

Second this.
There will be hills up in damascus/Clarksburg that will have ice

Thanks for thinking of the country folk like us who will be careening up and down hills on narrow winding roads in our trucks.

And it's a DELAY. For now...

The temps will rise again around 10am so this delay makes no sense at all.

At regular school times (code green) everyone could have made it to school.

Under 2 hr delay, HS buses will roll out around 8:30-9:30am. By then the snow may be sticking in more parts of the county. If they went with Code Green, the ES buses would have been affected since those travel 8-915am. They should be able to call closed for ES while open on time for MS and HS. Alas, it is MCpS though!

What is the latest time they can switch to schools being closed from the current status of 2 hr delay?

Clarksburg got pummeled. We have an inch. I live on a farm so I can get to where I need to go but those buses are going to have a time on Clarksburg Road, Burnt Hill and Stringtown and Bethesda Church
