That’s at least going to be a delay.

delay if temps don't climb up

100% snow day. I don’t think it is supposed to stop until 9 or 10 am, so not enough time to clean up before a 10:30 am delay start time.

This is going to be a 5am call, so go to sleep early.

Here are the issues with the Tuesday morning rush hour:

1. Temps above freezing for most of MoCo.
2. Very intense band of precipitation, which will turn to snow at rush hour for regions north and west of I-95.
3. It's rate of snowfall vs. ground temp: who will win? If there's not enough rain/snow on warm ground, then no delay is warranted. If there's a ton of snow on warm ground, it WILL stick for a short period of time, which will immediately impact rush hour.
4. Since the event starts as rain tonight, roads cannot be pre-treated, so any snow that sticks will be a problem.

At this time, it's impossible to determine tomorrow morning's conditions. Do your homework, turn in early, but maybe there will be some delays.

I would welcome a delay.

Delay would be awesome for the high school kids. They already suffer from lack of sleep

Yawn. Its Monday. Your kids had all weekend to sleep.

I tensed up as I opened and read this thread…

…and then I remembered that our kid is a freshman in college and we don’t have to worry anymore what the school system does! Yay!

Hang in there!

Isn’t it going to be in the 40’s the whole time? Seems like rain event

+1, this is what is going to happen. It’s far too warm for any impact.

Go to bed earlier. Put the devices away after dinner.
