Kate Middleton in Hospital - Recovering from Surgery

What kind of abdominal surgery did Kate Middleton have cuz there's a lot of different types of abdominal surgeries that somebody could have so I need to know so I could keep her in my thoughts and prayers

Could she have had her colon removed due to Crohn’s or UC?

My friend had to have hers removed in her 20s. Not sure how long she was in the hospital, but it could be something like that.

Although hysterectomy is most likely candidate. If it has to go, it has to go. I don’t think anyone takes that lightly.

William cleared his calendar too, it seems. Yikes!

Obviously a serious surgery if it requires a lengthy hospital stay. Also will need to manage the kids (even with help).

Whatever it is, it's not a good thing. I hope she recovers quickly and returns to good health.

The press release specifically stated “abdominal surgery.”

Are you thinking tummy tuck?

With anyone else I would jump to that. But Kate is the last person on earth who needs it. Unless she is super super vain.

This humanizes her. Constant scrutiny creates a lot of stress. I will pray for her healthy recovery.

I'm just curious of what kind of abdominal surgery she had because she won't be doing her regular duties until after Easter and I want to meet her and Prince William and the kids in person so I could give them something special if that is possible

+1 My dad had brain tumor surgery and wasn’t in the hospital that long.

I had a tummy tuck and didn't even spend the night in the hospital. This must be something serious.

It isn’t possible. You’re deluded.

The press release said abdominal surgery but maybe that's just what the royals are saying. The public will never know what the actual problem is so the royals can say whatever they want. Given the length of time involved, maybe she's getting in-person treatment for an eating disorder or mental health issue. We will never truly know.

When's the last time she was seen in public?

This is 2024! Two weeks? I can’t even imagine what it could have been since it was planned.

Intestinal surgery can require a long hospital stay.
