| Split between Colorado and France. |
To me, Arizona is already like the surface of the sun. Being outdoors is great, but not when it is too hot to be hiking outdoors half the year! |
I love parts of WV. My only hang up might be having to put WV plates on my car

Climate change will definitely make things difficult in many places. I’d love to be near water, but not sure where is actually a safe on-the-water location. The tidewater and Rehoboth already have problems with rising ocean water.
To be honest, I am not sure we’ll even get to make these decisions. I am pretty pessimistic about the future in general. Given that I already had cancer in my early 40s and my husband’s family has a terrible track record with cancer deaths before retirement (and the things he did to his body as a teen), I doubt both of us will make it. And on a larger level, I fear a catastrophe before we even get to that age. Can’t actually say I haven’t wished for a giant meteor at times ;p |
Not all of Arizona is desert. |
| Maine! |
Nova Scotia will be amazing. |
Flagstaff looks and feels more like Colorado than Arizona. |

Like where? |
The green parts. Flagstaff is at 7,000 feet.

| Louisiana |
Agree - that's a place I could spend a lot more time |
+1 Everyone I know from Arizona is a Republican of the batshit variety. |
Several of the batshit candidates lost to democrats in 2022. I’ll never understand why so many democrats discourage other democrats from moving to less than pure blue states. Yes, move there! Help make it better! |
