Do you sleep with socks on or off?

I literally cannot relax and fall asleep if I don’t have socks on. I’ve tried and just can’t do it.

Ugh, that stinks about the reynaud’s. I used to work for the Sjogrens Foundation and talked to lots of people who also had Reynaud’s.

My family is funny - my husband and little one are always hot, my teen and I are always cold. I bundle up at night (pjs and lots of blankets) BUT I still like no socks for sleeping.

There's only one correct way to sleep: naked.

You people are masochistic barbarians.

I’ve slept nude and agree it is lovely - but I don’t typically sleep nude because of the fear of house fire in the middle of the night.

That’s like refusing to date because you might get your heart broken. Can’t let fear control you.

Pajamas and socks are medieval torture devices.

+1 except for your last sentence. People in medieval times actually slept nude. Sleepwear didn’t really come into existence until early modern times.

Since he died, I put a heating pad at the foot of the bed and turn it on for 2 hours. I fall right to sleep and it shuts off before I get too warm.

That’s really sweet. I’m sorry for your loss.

There really is something beautiful about that. I am glad your husband was that way and sorry for your loss

Socks on when it's cold and off when it's not.

Wow you’re lucky. My husband thinks if I wear anything to bed our marriage is dead. I have to be naked.

Gee, that’s not abusive at all.

it’s not abuse, it’s ‘CNC’. Anytime he wants it, he can have it, regardless of why I want.

Consensual rape isn’t a thing

No frickin way. My feet would get really hot. I don't sleep with anything on since I was a child.

Depends on the season. In summer no, but in winter yes. I can not fall asleep if my feet are cold. I will sometimes take them off during the night.

Same. I couldnt wear anything growing up because I woke up more than once with an item of clothing wrapped around my neck or arm or whatever.
The idea of socks is nauseating.

WTF. I hope you’d clean yourself before getting into your nice, clean bed!

I can't breath with socks on at night. I barely tolerate them during the day, and only wear them when explicitly needed.
