I predict one top school will be all-scholarship in next 5 years.

I believe there are three medical schools that have done this. NYU is one. I think the benefit is just tuition, so the students still need to cover housing expenses.

That’s a possible model.

This was suggested upthread and I like it. There are work study jobs, loans, grants, RA positions, etc to help cover room and board. I dont think colleges would lose any money if they did this.

The move is in the opposite direction with work study increasingly being eliminated as part of aid packages.
