How long have you waited in line at the pharmacy?

Even after using their system where you text "get in line" and wait days for it to be ready, it easily takes an hour once you're there to pick up. Military medicine at its finest.

Walter reed has you wait at least a few hours for the new prescriptions with the get in line which does not work half the time. Oh, and refills, wait three days and if they are out too bad and try again. Forget to refill, too bad, even for a serious issue. Need an inhaler. Tuff luck. Express scripts, well that’s another nightmare. Not to mention some meds you have to special order and you have to call those in separately. And, now they put limits even if the doctor prescribed it. So, need more, tuff luck.

How do you get free delivery?

I live in McLean. I have to pay a lot more at cvs/ giant than small family pharmacy with the same insurance. The line is long at cvs/giant. I have used small family pharmacy in McLean for a few years now. Less wait time & cheaper too.

We live in Ashburn. I've been to 3 different CVS pharmacies here in the area multiple times (1 is within a nearby Target), and I don’t think I've ever waited more than a few minutes.
