The 1975 |
The Rolling Stones still has title. They have. New album And are touring |
The Rolling Stones aren’t an American rock band. They’re British. |
English band, not American. |
And not that great. |
Dirty Honey |
It depends on what OP is looking for. For big name, kick-ass rock that someone would be willing to go into a stadium for and wouldn’t hate themselves for doing it, Foo Fighters. I know a bunch of those others, but I’m not going into a stadium to see it. Me personally, I would also go for Green Day. |
And they phart dust. Pathetically have for decades. |
Agree with Green Day
Pixies Blink 182 Maybe Counting Crows Eagles on their way out Radiohead |
Radiohead are English. I meant to say Pixies, but sadly their performances from last the two years have been disappointing. Yes, they have incredible songs that still stand 20+ years later, but they should retire. |
Counting Crows as a rock band now? Listen I saw them (for free) in Richmond a couple of years ago, but rock they are not. Not in the 90s and not now. |
Neither should Foo Fighters or Three Doors. |
Indie rock is code for rock that doesn't suck. |
The Yeah Yeah Yeahs |
In no particular order,
Yo La Tengo Spoon The National Wilco Old 97's Drive By Truckers Yeah Yeah Yeahs My Morning Jacket Dr. Dog War on Drugs Sorry my list is so male dominated. Women dominate my pop, country and R&B lists. |
