Should have added, not for the Hallmark movie crowd. Def bittersweet.

Arthur Christmas

Very British, animated (from the folks who made "Wallace and Gromit" and "Chicken Run" though it's not stop-motion), and absolutely lovely. Funny and sweet. Check it out in advance if you have young kids who might be thrown by the premise that Santa is a position held by Claus family fathers and sons through the ages. it's a hilarious look at how Santa gets all those gifts delivered in just one night, and what it really means to be Santa Claus!

I enjoyed this movie! Thanks!

I do not find the family stone to be a feel good movie fwiw.

Eyes Wide Shut. Paints a good picture of New York during Christmas

Underrated and a great lark especially if you were in New York in the 80s or 90s or wished you were.

I love this movie!
