| 27 years. "How did you sleep?" |
| I don't know. He gets up 2 hours after me (I work, he's retired). |
| “Good morning, bae.” We normally kiss and snuggle for a while before finally getting dragged out of bed by the kids or dog who are demanding food. 10 years. |
Flash forward to 30 years and it's just "Coffee!" |

“Good morning beautiful” or some other term of endearment. |
|
My wish: “was it good for you?”
Reality: “whose day is it to change the baby’s diaper?” |
| I spent the night at my parents recently - married 43 years - and my dad walks into the kitchen and says good morning gorgeous and my mom then said hi sweetie and then he hugged her. 43 years! |
This is SO sweet! We’ve been married 26 years and I so hope we’re as happy as your parents in 20 years. |
| 23 years “hi, honey, how’d you sleep?” |
|
"Hello?"
The question mark is there because what he's really doing with the "hello" is checking to see if I am awake / ready to get up. |
| Good morning beautiful. 17 years. |
| I love you. Hope you slept well. 22 years. |
| 3 years. We don’t speak to each other in the morning unless we must. We have a good marriage we just really like things very quiet in the morning. |
| Married 20 years and I have no clue what spouse says to me. To be fair, pre-Covid, spouse left for work about the time my alarm was going off. Now spouse works from home but is still starting work about the time I'm getting out of bed. Saturdays are the only days we get up at roughly the same time, and I'm not sure that it's more than a hello most of the time. Sometimes a cuddle. |
| “time to make the donuts!” 20 years. |
