He wakes while I’m still asleep. He comes back later to check that I’m awake and kisses my cheek. He gives me a squeeze or massage and says, “Good morning.”
Married 15 years and I adore him more as each year passes. Head over heels. |
| Get up! 15 years |

He says, “good morning beautiful” or “I can’t believe how good you look.” He is really sweet and hot.
Married 15 years. |

"I had the strangest dream!" And then he tells me. He very frequently has hilarious, convoluted, delightfully odd dreams I love to hear. Married 31 years. |
| I get up first and have an hour of quiet time in the kitchen reading the news and having coffee. When my husband shows up he usually says “hi gorgeous” or something like that and then he passes behind me at the kitchen counter, lightly pats my butt and then heads to the coffee maker. We’ve been married 33 years and he is still very affectionate but he’s not into PDAs. |

This morning I said “it’s six oclock, did you forget to get our kid ready for the bus?” And then a sitcom ensued.
But many mornings, it is some variation of “good morning,” “love you,” etc. |
| You again? |
10 years and same. |
Us too, or some approximation of that. 25 years. |
| “Did you make coffee?” - 13 years |
My dh is so good about many many things but refuses to acknowledge that I exercise. He never asks about it, and if I want to talk about it I thnk twice since he's told me he is absolutely not interested. |

"Isn't it time to wake up Larla?"
(Like 20 minutes before its time to wake up Larla) My kid needs every bit of sleep and gets ready quickly with time to sit around so this is annoying. He always leaves with a kiss and I love you so I'm not really complaining. |
| “Good morning, sweetie.” 19 years. |
"Morning, sweetie." And a kiss on the cheek (b/c he hasn't brushed his teeth yet ).
Next Sunday will be our 30th anniversary. |

Usually one of “How’d you sleep (with or without a “Good morning.” first)?” “Oh thank the Lord that was just a dream.” “Did you hear that storm last night?”. Or “Are you ready for the big light?” which I’m now realizing is kind of strange because we only have one light switch/light option.
