+1 Definitely don't buy she's nice to anyone but her family, Ben, and TPTB. |
That is absolutely not true about Meryl Streep. I have worked with her, and many others. She was probably the nicest. |
Eh, 98% of Hollywood celebs are divas. Mariah Carey, Naomi Campbell are well documented to be difficult and harsh |
|
Madonna is bratty.
Bill Cosby is very nasty (long before his legal problems surfaced). |
|
Angelina Jolie
Jonah Hill Brie Larson |
I think all celebs have PR people posting their social media/curating an image. I know an author who is not even that famous who employs someone to post for her and it definitelysupports a decided-upon image and she is not at all like it. It's like the celeb interviews where they vet the questions beforehand or have say about the final version. To add to the list: Ben Stiller |
| Jason Bateman, Jennifer Aniston, and all the divas they hang with. Overrated actors who simply play themselves onscreen. |
I know someone who knows Bradley Cooper and says he is seriously super nice. |
PP. That is nice to hear. I stand corrected. |
DCUM celeb nanny - The kardashians don’t pay well (except for khloe) but they actually aren’t bad to work for, the exception being Kourtney. She is (allegedly of course) awful. I know several people who have worked for them, and they all say khloe is wonderful, kourtney is… not. |
| ^^ ALLEGEDLY |
This mildly surprises me. I guess it's easy to think you know someone when you've seen them on TV like the Kardashians for so long. Kourtney comes off as slightly more down to earth than any of her sisters. I mean, she's still a Kardashian and ridiculous, but she has seemed more self-aware about their privilege in the past and I'd think that might translate to better treatment of the people who work for them. Khloe strikes me as so deeply insecure that I could see her being super sweet to hired help but then also ready to turn on them on a moment's notice. Like she'd want to be your best friend and treat you like a sister but then she'd accuse you of stealing because you looked at her wrong and she thinks you are judging her. Kourtney seems to have a more healthy sense of herself. I know all this is based on images they are working to project on their various shows, but I do actually think a lot of that is their real personalities and dynamic. |
The Palace staff are starting to leak on her. The latest is she asked for $90M to stop the marriage. The Queen offered her $10M and she stayed, assuming she could get more by spilling on the family. It worked. |
That's an outlandish claim. And I'm anti-MM |
+1 Started to post this earlier but didn't (was commenting on another aspect of this thread) but I'll add that Streep has a terrific rep as being down-to-earth. Source: My adult child is involved in an organization in which Streep has long been involved. No publicity about it really. But people associated with the group all say she's genuinely nice and easy to work with, no diva stuff at all. Generous with time as much as possible considering the demands of filming etc. at times. No idea why some PP decided to hate on her, other than that Streep is genuinely talented and famous because of that talent. Those who've actually dealt with her have positive things to say. |
