I guess the pressure by schools and students made FL reverse course.

UPDATE ON AP PSYCH: I've just confirmed with

AP Psychology will NOT be offered this school year. This is a reversal from Friday. Students and parents are being informed they'll be moved to other advanced placement psychology courses offed through programs like AICE and IB

So what is the difference between AP and IB and AICE? Are some of them allowed but not AP? Some of them Desantis approves of?

Can't speak to the exact difference but IB courses are only offered by IB schools with just enough teachers for those IB students to attend the classes. IB courses also tend to be stretched over 2 years vs 1 year with AP. Another difference is that IB SL (standard level) are usually not given credit no matter the score, while AP usually always receive credit for scores of 4/5.

IB is not an option really for most kids wanting to take AP Psychology and getting college credit.

Yeah that makes no sense. In Montgomery County only about a quarter of the high schools offer IB, I doubt that there’s many more in Florida. That’s not a solution.
