| Obviously finding cocaine in the WH is concerning from a security standpoint. But what’s the angle of the GOP? that it fell out of the pocket of one of the Biden’s? I really don’t think anyone (cocaine user) would be stupid enough to actually bring the stuff into the WH. My conclusion is that it was left there intentionally, not accidentally, to create a news story. |
| If the substance found turned out to be anthrax, would Democrats be satisfied with a six day investigation with the result of “who knows???”? |
Well, with President*** Sniffles, they actually had people who had seen him do drugs over the years and the constant sniffling and occasional pupils as big and dark as black holes was kind of a tip off. Donald Trump pretty clearly used drugs. Joe Biden? No evidence. But there is a lot of GOP projection again. |
| Resident coke head Don Jr stopped by and planted it, but not before snorting a few lines. |

No cameras 😂😂😂 |
It wasn’t anthrax, which obviously is a very different sort of substance; specifically, a dangerous threat suggesting terrorism. So yes, one might not be surprised if that were approached differently. |
Getting fingerprints is not as easy as people like to believe. I doubt they would test for DNA. How on earth would they match that to anyone? |
It's happened a lot more than that. |
| I'm more concerned that the Uniformed Secret Service stopped a motorist for speeding. The motorist took off and the USS officer did not pursue. The motorist then ran down several pedestrians, killed one and gravely injured others. They have the license plate but still haven't made an arrest. I realize it's probably a stolen license plate but why did the USSS uniform not at least try to do his job? I swear they are Keystone Cops. https://www.washingtonpost.com/politics/2023/07/12/white-house-secret-service-pedestrian-killed/c85d67f4-20fe-11ee-8994-4b2d0b694a34_story.html |

Weren’t the secret service busted for partying with hookers a couple of years ago?
One of the guys dropped his stash and his buddies are covering. Yes it should be news, because the secret service is an embarrassment. But it’s old news. Not new news. |
| Who in the USSS is going to lose their job after this debacle? |
| The drugs got stopped at security and didn’t actually enter the White House which is kind of the point. |
By the point where the drugs were found, they would’ve already gone thru 1-2 layers of security. Obviously a metal detector is not going to pick up a baggie of powder. It’s not clear to me if they had been X-ray’d before this point. Same reason why you could get through airport security pretty easily with a bag of powder. This has nothing to do with any administration. It has to do with the fact that you can get a bag of powder onto the WH grounds. They probably need to do a full body scan at the first layer of security. Still, |
| Major eyeroll at all the RW armchair detectives. You already decided, from the moment you first heard about this story, that the ONLY possible explanation for the cocaine baggie was that it was brought in by HB. If the SS had announced that they had found the culprit--and it was anyone BUT HB--would you have believed them? They're damned if they do and damned if they don't. Why do you even bother reading/listening to the news? You already know everything there is to know about everything. |
