Secret Service Concludes Investigation...

Trump packed the Secret Service with loyalists.

https://www.thedailybeast.com/how-donald-trump-contaminated-the-secret-service

That's why evidence was destroyed and phones wiped after J6, and why there has been no cooperation or transparency. And I think many of those loyalists are still in place, which also leads me to believe the reason Secret Service couldn't identify the cocaine culprit is because one of them planted it, as a political weapon, in order to keep the whole Hunter narrative going.

Just seems it would be easier for them to meet up in Rehoboth.

I was wondering this too. This was a checkpoint for staffs d visitors. I doubt the president and his immediate family are required to go through security checkpoints. Does the SS frisk Jill every night before bed? Seems unlikely.

Except that the first reported location where the bag was found was not at the checkpoint.

Also, why won't they just make a statement that even though there are no fingerprints the bag does not belong to the first family? That would resolve all the issues.

Sure, the RWNJs would just take the WHs word for it. Ha!

What does the initial incorrect reporting have to do with anything? It was actually found in a cubby at a security checkpoint.

Why would not WH or their spokesperson issue such a statement? It is not about who accept it or reject it, it is about them not denying their involvement with drugs.

Because the RWNJs would just take the denial as further evidence that it’s true.

Why do you think that only right wing is interested in this information? I voted for Biden and I would like to know the answer.

I'm also a Biden voter. I strongly doubt it was Hunter's because he and other Biden family members are very likely not even screened and made to put their phones and other items into a cubby in the first place. But I do think the Secret Service has a lot of unaccountable and untrustworthy cowboy behavior that needs to be reined in. Whoever was responsible for destroying J6 evidence and wiping phones should have been sacked, along with any Secret Service officers who haven't been forthcoming about the exact timeline and facts of what happened that day. Whoever was responsible for keeping tabs on the security screening area should also be sacked.

Democrats obviously cover for their own, so no one gets sacked. Funny how that works, right?

You read the thing about January 6 and go with “Democrats obviously cover for their own”? JFC. That is some mental work to protect your worldview.

Democrats don’t get sacked.

This case should not be about Biden supporters v Trump supporters. There was a crime committed and people should know the outcome of the investigation, not the sloppy cover-up for it (whether it is a cover up for Trump's secret service, or the president's family). The fact that president's family and WH spoke person brushing this off is really concerning.

We already know the outcome of the investigation because the WH and SS announced it. You were never going to believe anything they said anyway.

I posted that it was either a plant for whatever crazy reason someone wanted to do so (lack of fingerprints/dna) AND/OR it was a secret service agent and they are protecting one of their own.

I stick by these statements. I would bet money on them.

Precisely. For a little bag of cocaine to appear with no DNA and no fingerprints after the right wing spent another few days gnashing their teeth that Hunter didn’t get the punishment they felt he should get? And, oops the cameras don’t capture anything?

Gee. Whoever could be behind that.

What makes you believe that?

“Joseph V. Cuffari was so enthusiastic about what he called Donald Trump’s “huge win” in the 2016 presidential election that he applied for a job with the incoming administration within days.

“I am proud to be a supporter and very interested in helping the administration meet the many challenges it faces,” Cuffari wrote in a letter dated Nov. 15, 2016, to Vice President-elect Mike Pence, who was the chairman of Trump’s transition team, according to a copy obtained by The Washington Post via a public-records request.

Ultimately, Trump picked Cuffari as the Department of Homeland Security’s inspector general, a watchdog position that is considered nonpartisan and audits the department for fraud, waste and abuse. For weeks, key Democratic lawmakers have accused him of bungling the search for the Secret Service’s missing text messages from the Jan. 6, 2021, attack on the Capitol, one of the most consequential probes in U.S. history, and have called for him to step aside. Cuffari has refused.”

Then he went back to the USSS and was put in charge of training.

There are actually several people on here who have been able to note the way that the Secret Service carries on. And he’s not on here of course, but you remember that Mike Pence didn’t trust some of his USSS detail to the point that he wouldn’t leave with them on Jan 6.

And if they’re as ideologically compromised as they appear, they’re probably not trying to “take him out.” But trying to embarrass him and his family? Sorry, yeah, that’s exactly as trashy as maga is wherever they work.

So you think the Secret Service “planted” the cocaine to embarrass Joe Biden?

Only the SS could have gotten close enough to plant it with no one knowing who it was.
