Is Buffalo a Northeastern city or a Midwestern city?

What? No that’s not why the mid-Atlantic is called the mid-Atlantic.

I went to school there. It’s not at all Canadian.

It’s Northeastern more than Midwestern, but it’s not like being downstate. I think it’s very Rust Belt.

They do drink Labatt Blue in Buffalo and there's a mural to the late Tragically Hip lead singer Gord Downie in Buffalo. And Canadians attend teachers colleges in Buffalo. But it has far more in common with Rochester than Hamilton or Toronto obviously.

It's very sad. Poorly read and poorly traveled people. Which is fine. But to be poorly read and poorly traveled...I guess that's DCUM!
