Today’s usage:

2 pair for thick cut bacon 🥓 baked in the oven
1 pair for slicing 24 Oz regular bacon rendered for salads this week
2 Pair for mixing and shaping Keto Sausage balls
1 pair for cleaning and sanitizing

1 pair to make burger Patties
1 pair to prep and wash green beans for frying
1 pair to remove from flour
2 pair for egg wash and dry keto batter
1 pair for cleaning and sanitizing

12 pair used today

Not one regret. Space taken up in trash: less than two diapers.

I'm judging you really hard. Guess you don't care about your children's or grandchildren's future.

Okay Judgey. If you think my one contribution to garbage compared to the restaurant or medical field makes a statement I don’t care about my children, you are deranged and I’m judging you so hard!

+1.

Haven't studies shown it's more sanitary to not use gloves?
With gloves people forget to wash their hands enough.

I use gloves when handling raw meat like making meatballs, but small tongs for doing all kinds of their things like breading. I just got small, silicone tipped tongs at the dollar store and they’re perfect.
For slicing, I do the same - a small silicone trivet

People who eat this much meat should not only have to GASP touch! the raw meat, they should have to raise and slaughter the animals as well. What is this weird effing world where you are so disconnected to your food?

Do you use gloves to poop. Serious question.

So one can infer from your post, you grow your own food. You are so in touch with the land, you seed, care for and harvest everything single you consume. I guess you drill and refine your own oil to power either your car or to generate electricity for your EV. I’m sure you are mining the minerals that go into the battery of your EV and the device you are using to post!

I just used a pair of gloves to pump my gas today.

No how wasteful

This is what soap and hot water are for

I would only wear gloves if I were spray painting. That stuff is hard to get off!

Why are people afraid to touch raw meat or produce with their hands? I’m completely perplexed by many things I’ve read on this thread, but I’m most astonished by the idea that people who find the raw versions of these things so repellent or terrifying that they treat them like biohazardous waste products are then perfectly happy to eat them once cooked. Are you trolling us?

They 100% are. There is no way someone is this insane in real life.

I love this thread. It has such potential. OP please answer everything and let us know it's you and not some weird explainer/rationalizer.

I feel like this person might have posted before. I remember a thread from someone who washed their hands every time they touched anything in the process of preparing chicken. So, put chicken in baking dish, wash hands. Put salt on, wash hands. Put pepper on, wash hands. Does that ring a bell?
