You are the problem. Literally any of y’all who insist that both sides are equally bad WHEN THE GOP IS ADVOCATING THE DEATH PENALTY FOR MISCARRIAGES is the problem. Hi. It’s you. You’re the problem.

You believe the GOP will kill women who miscarry? Really????

The GOP needs to stay out of this issue entirely. Carry your pregnancy in a reproductive refuge if possible. A blue state where yo can get the best care.

You didn’t answer my question.

Women who seek abortion in South Carolina could face death penalty
House Bill 3549 is an amendment to the South Carolina Prenatal Equal Protection Act of 2023 and would define "person" to include an unborn child at any stage of development. This would ensure that an unborn child who is a "victim of homicide" or "victim of assault" is given the same protections under state laws -- including, up to the death penalty.
Can this pass? A resounding yes. Can it be struck down not so sure?

Funny.

When I saw the thread's title I assumed it was about politicians pretending men can become women at will -- hence the end of Women's Rights.

But, no, let's talk about how to end the lives of female babies with impunity...how truly progressive of us.

Hi you forgot to mention the lives of former female babies (now girls and women) who do not wish to donate their bodies to gestate an unwanted pregnancy. Why is that?

Wait, now you believe, like fundamentalist Christians do, that women have no role in getting pregnant? We're all like Virgin Mary? 😀😀

Wait, you believe like the Pope and fundamentalist Christians that women who have sex MUST accept the consequence of pregnancy even if their birth control failed, and that therefore women have no agency over their own bodies even though there are safe ways to end that pregnancy? How very medieval of you.

Yes I did. The last thing a pregant woman needs to be worrying about is answering your questions. Just leave her alone.

Good. Find something better to do than stick your busybody nose in the business of pregnant women. There reproductive lives do not concern you.

Are you always so dim? I am pro-choice. Always have been. But I think histrionics like yours don’t help, and your determination to be blind to the gross misogyny promulgated by the left is disgusting.

I need to schedule a ligation because if I were ever in a position where I couldn't abort a pregnancy, I would seriously consider unaliving myself. Some of us NEED to be childfree for our health and sanity.

No, it's not just irresponsible sorority girls who might need abortions. Rape is a constant threat in women's lives. What's wrong with some of the posters here?

I'm very sad for our country and sad that it's harder and harder to look away from politics (which I've had to do for the past few years because I have been struggling to get by and to stabilize my mental health).

Good luck finding a doctor who will do it.

Meanwhile it’s super easy to find someone who will perform a vasectomy.

I am pro choice and there are no histrionics about it. I am not young and have several children of my own and know dozens and dozens of other pregnancy stories from friends and relatives. Many many things can go wrong and none of it should involve other people beyond the pregnant woman and her loved ones and medical professionals.

Sure. I am in complete agreement.

That still is no reason to freak out so ridiculously at someone who observes the war on women is also being driven by forces on the far left.

Dp. You still haven't articulated a single point that the left is also being against women, except for your both sides nonsense. Show us your work.

The death of women who are forced to seek backstreet abortions is on you and your medieval beliefs.

I believe they will arrest and subject a woman to the indignity of pseudo medical examinations to see if it can be determined if she forced a miscarriage.

The solution is to get pro choice candidates in the presidency, the house, and the senate until SCOTUS can be liberated from the anti women, backwards, forced birthers. This is a long and sustained project

Like fun you are. You’re over here claiming that “the left” is as bad as the right - the right which is literally getting medications taken out of pharmacies across the country, overruling elections, planning the death penalty for women - then saying we’re gaslighting you? You’re a bad faith pp.
