You believe the GOP will kill women who miscarry? Really????

They wanted a ten year old rape victim to give birth to her rapists child so…yeah?

This is such a good start.

And don’t give me what about rape and incest? Abortions only happen for less than 2% of all abortions. Most are done purely for the convenience of mom!

PP here. You cannot edit a post. What I, who is a woman, meant is that less than 2% of abortions are performed for rape and incest. Most people do not have an issue with that procedure for rape or incest or the health of the mother. Maybe women keep their legs closed if they don’t want to get pregnant or it would be an inconvenience.

So yes if the death penalty was on the table for anyone who has an abortion or performs one, maybe it would slow down the Millions performed yearly.

No one is forcing you to give birth.

I and my daughters believe this way!

You and your daughters?! I and my daughter believe that no woman was put on this earth to be a broodmare and every woman should have the freedom to choose whether she wants to have a child. You don't get to make choices for anyone other than yourself.

And you are making choices for yo ur unborn child to die. You truly aren’t pro choice. You are making the choice on behalf of another life.

Jeff continues to allow forced birthers be posted here when no one at all is forcing you to have sex. And in the small amount of abortions performed due to rape or incest compared to all of them, most people agree an abortion should be allowed. As well for the health of the mother. You can call out one or two anecdotal and not confirmed cases of extreme interpretations of the law, but it just isn’t the norm.

You want companies to be forced to pay for birth control but then you say stay out of my womb. You cannot have it both ways.

Don’t want to get pregnant? Abstain. Stop using abortion for your convenience and bad behavior.

That’s the least dumb thing in that whole post. It’s riddled with logical fallacies and just generally shoddy, unexamined but long held beliefs. I can almost guarantee that that PP has herself had an abortion. But the only moral abortion is my abortion, so.

Speaking of: it’s practically cliche at this point, but I’ve been pro choice since I was ten years old and was only shown this article last year: https://joycearthur.com/abortion/the-only-moral-abortion-is-my-abortion/

This kind of stuff is so sickening. I don't understand why this of all things doesn't seem to even remotely resonate with pro-lifers.

I notice you’re still using the outdated term “pro lifers,” and that’s why you don’t understand. They don’t care. It’s not about life, it’s about controlling women. If a few ten year olds hemorrhage to death after giving birth - all but literally babies having babies - they don’t care. They don’t care if a few thousand women die from sepsis and they don’t care how many families are left wrecked when most of those women are already mothers.

They just want to ensure that women are punished for the crime of being people with agency. They want to punish them for having sex, for having plans that do not include pregnancy and birth and a child at that exact moment. They want to punish them for not living with their bad choices in partners, they want to punish them for finishing college.

And hey if it adds one or two White babies to the adoption pool for grabby people like that religious freak on the illegitimate court, all to the better according to them!

Well it depends on what she did to cause the miscarriage.

Entirely in the PP’s head.

I need to schedule a ligation because if I were ever in a position where I couldn't abort a pregnancy, I would seriously consider unaliving myself. Some of us NEED to be childfree for our health and sanity.

No, it's not just irresponsible sorority girls who might need abortions. Rape is a constant threat in women's lives. What's wrong with some of the posters here?

I'm very sad for our country and sad that it's harder and harder to look away from politics (which I've had to do for the past few years because I have been struggling to get by and to stabilize my mental health).

My most sincere wishes that everything works out for you. People who aren’t rich, neurotypical, mentally well, etc are between a rock and a hard place and it seems that the GOP wants to make it worse still.

Have you asked half of the aborted babies, who happen to be female?

Or, have you asked the many many pro-life women been insulted everyday because, wait for it, they want to protect life?
