Well, if the “good kid” had some physical resemblance to her own son or loved one, she might be able to look into his big blue eyes and know that he could never have meant it. Woe to the ones who have no resemblance though. |
Exactly. It's totally normal for a child to have violent sexual fantasies. You prudes ruin everything. /s |
+1 It’s not a “violent fantasy” for a 12 year old. They heard about it somewhere, don’t really understand the violence, and repeat it trying to be tough. It’s absolutely not OK and there should be consequences, but it’s certainly not the same as a NT adult saying it. |
| The kid got suspended, and you’re still mad? What exactly would you like to happen? |
What should happen should be the following: 1) An immediate chat with local law enforcement 2) 2 week suspension 3) Removed from the school and put in a therapeutic school 4) Daily therapy None of this will happen. Teachers need to keep leaving until there is no one to do the job. NO employee should be expected to go to work and see the same person who threatened to rape them. Yes, it is a middle school child. And yes, the teachers and other students need to be protected from the trauma of having to see this student every day. Tell me, if another kid in your kid's class tells your 12 year old daughter he is going to rape her, are you okay with that kid merely being suspended and back sitting next to her the following week? If you are, please seek help. |
You are part of the problem. This is not ok. |
seriously |
Just stop....you sound stupid. |
BINGO! |
+1,000,000. Thank you. Surely we all understand that our elected politicians are 100% ok with the current state of affairs. Not one of them cares. Why would they? |
Yup |
*Local politicians, that is. |
| Colleen Ritzer was raped and murdered by a 14-year old student in a school bathroom in 2013. |
Thank you I agree....I know several teachers leaving this year. There needs to be a nationwide strike. The out of control behavior is at every level. |

Why does Randy W. remain silent on the critical issue of school safety for teachers and students? |
