There was a time right after Basketball Diaries where Leo was openly questioning his sexuality. He had an article in Interview magazine in 1994 saying as much but you will not find that article anywhere anymore. His team shut that down in its tracks because titanic and Romeo and Juliet were in the horizon and they didn’t want him coming out. He and Lukas Haas have been together. He also enjoys women I guess? But the model thing is contractual.

I once dated a DJ who behaves, publicly, just like Leo. He supported good causes to offset his womanizer image. He was a monster behind closed doors. I see that in this guy too.

I'm the PP who dated an abusive DJ. I have something to say here. WRT to Leo DiCaprio, even his politeness to staff is likely all about that image. My evil ex was the same, SOOO polite in public, tipped well, treated fans like gold, and promoted good causes. In private he scapegoated me, slapped me, and would tell lies about me if we got into a fight. Why? Because his image comes first. Mr. Famous has to come out smelling like roses. And his managers and his entourage would take his side and tell me to shut up.

So I wouldn't rush to congratulate Leo for cheerfully greeting a hotel employee he recognizes.

PP who dated the abusive DJ here. Yes, this is likely. Look at how Leo DiCaprio treats them like pretty ornaments - why would he be faithful? His "boys" probably come first and they'd feel threatened if he actually fell in real love and put a woman before them. (Again...my ex had this dynamic too.) If you look at Leo's history with Tobey Maguire and some of the stuff they've done together, going back to the Nineties and including a rapey film they made, you'll see the same pattern.

That's nice. But what does this have to do with him dating 20 year olds? He doesn't have to it's a choice.
