It shouldn’t be an insult to anyone except those advocating using force of law and police violence to take lawfully owned rifles away from Americans who legally own them.

The AR-15 is THE most common long gun/rifle in America. There are more AR-15’s than there are minivans on the road. These pins make it clear to everyone they stand against disarming the American people. I support that.

when these guns are outlawed they get rid of most of them with a buy back program so relax and stop spouting nonsense. no one is coming to forcibly take your precious gun. most will sell it when they realize it is good for nothing and they would rather have the cash.

And Santos is a garbage representative by all accounts so anything that crook does should be viewed with high suspicion.

Didn’t these folks PAY for the guns? They already made the decision they’d rather have a gun than cash.

If the guns are outlawed, isn’t that forcibly taking them back?

When the guns are outlawed, as they were for a decade and will be again, I am guessing people will be take their cash back.

Owners will be paid for them. They will not just be taken away.

Interesting. And where does that 1/8th of a trillion dollars come from?

60 million guns @ $1,200ea + 1.2 billion magazines @ $40ea = $120,000,000,000

That’s 1/5th of the entire budget for the Department of Defense.

Maybe dems could have a bake sale to raise money?

Sorry but you ain't gonna get retail prices for crappy old used guns. Especially when the bans come and the buyback cash is a courtesy.

Oh, it’ll be a courtesy? How magnanimous of you! Sort of a token “we could just take these by force, but we’ll give you a couple bucks to make you feel better about it” kinda thing?

Tell ya what- I’m just gonna hang onto them instead. Me and probably 30 million of my closest friends throughout the country. Sure, some people will give theirs up. But plenty of us won’t. And we’re not afraid of your cops either (who won’t even charge into a classroom, even with machineguns and outnumbering a killer 100-to-1.) So good luck with you gun seizure fever-dreams. It’s not going to go the way you think it will.

The fundamental problem is that we have the Second Amendment to defend ourselves against tyranny, and the NRA and the gun lovers have conspired with Putin to install a Russian imperialist dictatorship in the United States.

The Republicans have taken a constitutional right and poisoned it by making it a tool of tyranny.

Sorry. When the government uses eminent domain to take back property, that seems pretty forcible even if the property owner is compensated.

If they force a woman to give birth, they can take a lousy gun and give you your lousy money. The women does not even get any cash so consider yourself lucky.

Ok. Was just making sure we all agreed it would be a “forcible” taking of the guns. Seems so.

Forcible, illegal, not allowed, forbidden, no, nope, nada...call it whatever you want but it can't come soon enough.

Probably many. Russia’s pockets are deep and Republicans are easy to manipulate.

Yep. if Republicans are so concerned about forcing people to do x then they should stop forcing crap on others. Otherwise you look like a bunch of idiotic hypocrites complaining about being forced to do things.

Republicans are beyond caring if they look like hypocrites.

Politically, I suppose pro-gun (and otherwise conservative) folks are happy for anti-gun (and otherwise liberal) folks to spend their energy here.
