She worked at the Daily Caller, Daily Signal, and the Daily Wire. Are those all under the same umbrella company or why do far right media call everything "Daily"? |
Is it possible he is staging this whole thing as some sort of white man bites dog stunt? |
I did wonder if they were super religious -- that website gives big Instagram quiverfull christian patriarchy vibes. |
| Bunch of nutters. Poor kids. |
10 kids and 63 grandkids. That’s wild. Multiple young women appear to be rightwing columnists/journalists https://stowindependent.com/2020/12/26/obituary-kathy-olohan-78/ |
You read it while dropping your “daily deuce” |
Daily Wire is Ben Shapiro and Daily Caller is Tucker Carlson so not related. Not sure about Daily Signal. And no OP, the guy having seven kids has nothing to do with the case and doesn’t need to be in the headline. |
I'm surprised his mom went to graduate school! Notice the kids aren't listed in order, but separated to show the boys first and the girls second. Ryan is third-youngest, older than Sheila and Margaret. I'm pretty sure Ryan and Sheila are Irish twins. This was a strange trip down memory lane. |
Ah, so that explains why it’s suddenly making the rounds in right wing circles. I guess he didn’t get the response from Google he was looking for when he filed it, and asked his niece to send it around to up the pressure on Google. |
Actually I think the number of kids is indicative of his politics and I suspect speaks to the root issue he is trying to accomplish. |
Did you go to HS with them? Give us some good stories. I do find it a bit odd that the mother’s obituary mentions that she was buried in the habit of the 3rd order of the Dominicans. That’s….intense. And then the obituary insinuates that basically she let pregnant single women live in her home until they gave birth and then they were bounced out. Oy vey. |
So on point. Concerned about babies as long as they are in the belly, but toss to wolves when they are out in the world. |
They were all kind and most had great senses of humor. Dad was off-the-boat Irish and that was very cool in our community. I've blocked a lot from that time because it was stifling to be a young woman who was starting to question whether my politics and beliefs were authentic or just held because it was all I knew. I do remember the dad lecturing a table full of us about how to establish credit. He said that the best way was to buy a toaster on store credit at a department store and then go right upstairs and pay it off with cash. My parents had already given me a credit card for emergencies and explained how credit worked, so I said I didn't think that was enough time for the credit to be established. He wasn't happy and insisted that's what you had to do. |
+2 Right? WTAF? |

I’m just glad Google is getting sued for something.
Pretending to be a Disneyland all these years. I bet it’s toxic af. |
