I have faith in humanity now. We all eat buttered bread!!
Also, French person eating soft boiled egg in an egg cup while dipping buttered bread fingers in the yolk! I am weeping. Weeping I tell you. I thought I was the only egg cup person here. And celery salt? Whoa! I make my own cilantro salt at home so my tastebuds could absolutely imagine how that would taste!! Awesome! |
| Buttered toast is the best. But only if the butter is just partially melted. It’s heaven. I often eat one slice while my “real slice” is toasting and coffee is brewing, meaning that’s the slice I’ll actually sit to eat with coffee. |

You are all my people.
I also have a weakness for toast with mascarpone. |
| What I used to love were crumpets with melted butter that ran through the holes and onto my hands, maybe with a dash of Vegemite in top. |

My people.
My preferred version is not white bread toast, though. I love sourdough or marble, toasted so that it is crunchy, spread with grassfed salt butter and popped back into the still warm but not turned on toaster oven for a brief bit to fully melt the butter. Heaven. |
Nah. I've tried it and there's not really a difference. |
This is the best description of how to use Marmite. |
In the interest of educating everyone about fancy butter, Miyoko vegan butter (cultured with sea salt) is amazing. I'm not even vegan. I buy it for cholesterol reasons.... |
What butter do you get? I’ve honestly only seen sticks of butter? |
| Butter is horrible for your health. |
Are you the oxalate poster from the spinach thread |
Um Jeff can we block this IP address for violence thx |

I literally sat down to enjoy my toast and scroll and here I found you all!
I added a crispy fried egg this morning. |
