Ok, I love madeleines, but in no way do they rise to the level of road trip junk food.

Meals: Whopper Junior with onion rings, burrito and nachos from taco bell.

Snacks: twizzlers, chewy sweet tarts, raisonettes, salted pistachios.

Drinks: those bottled frappocino things that are chock full of fat and sugar.

Buc-ees is a great stop for snacks!

Their breakfast biscuit sandwiches (or any of their sandwiches) cannot be beat!

Load up with several bags of Buc-ees Beaver Nuggets - many selections of sweet and savory varieties. The salted caramel flavor is incredible.

They have just about every flavor of jerky you can imagine for those so inclined.

Their Cotton Candy Flavored Mint in tins are delicious for post-snack breath refreshing.

Take a break in their spotless bathrooms, fill up on cheap gas, and get a bag of .99 ice to refill coolers and you are on your way!

Love junk food but after consuming so much, you energy will dip fast and you will feel 5x worse and tiring. I hate that feeling so I fight to get something healthy. Banana and crunchy apple to stay awake.

Bugles. It’s the only time I’ll eat bugles, haha!

Taco Bell.

I'm getting old, though. I feel like I don't like that stuff anymore. I mean, I still like fries of course but most other things don't really do it for me. I could still murder an Arby's roast beef, though.

Is it me? Is it them? Are things changing or is it me that's changing?

I'm in my 40s. I want to want the gas station things but I'm always disappointed. I need new junk food ideas.
