Same! The best

I miss the nacho cheese ones! I now do pepperoni pizza (pretzel) as my go to. Sigh.

Those smell disgusting in the car and your fingers get gross

Gas station candy. I like blow pops or tootsie pops, fruity mentos

I don't eat junk on a road trip, it makes me feel gross. I do like to stop at Starbucks for short coffees or plain espresso macchiatos, those madeleines cookies in the package by the register (a light snack), and free large ice waters. And they generally have clean restrooms if needed.

Im this PP. Sorry! I should’ve specified that I don’t eat them together!

I’m going off on a tangent here, but you should order doppio macchiatos. That’s what real cappuccinos taste like in Italy!

Just because your junk food, sorry, “light snack” has a French name doesn’t make it not junk food LOL

I’m OP. That’s what I order. Plain double shot macchiato aka doppio espresso macchiato. Their larger drinks have diminishing returns and aren’t enjoyable to me. Short black coffees and macchiatos for me.

Combos here too. They are hard to find in grocery stores but can always find them in random rest stops.

They are in fact light and airy. And it’s junk food, of course, but is made with real butter and sugar, not chemical oils and HFCS like most of the stuff in this thread.

I find madeleines really heavy. They are chock full of butter.

Last road trip I got Combos out of nostalgia. I was so sad! They weren't as good as I remembered. I am going for corn nuts next time! Also doritos or cheetos. I also used to love Clearly Canadian but I tried so and it was so sweet I couldn't drink it.

I guess I just got old?

I really hate combos. Can't believe so many of you like them! I do like Gardettos though.

I broke a tooth eating corn nuts on a road trip with my grandparents. Never ate them again.
