For fun- what will your kids actually eat for Thanksgiving dinner?

Chicken in rosemary and lemon sauce (because we all hate turkey)
Green beans
Corn casserole
Stuffed mushrooms and peppers
Cauliflower steaks
Creamed spinach
Mac and Cheese
Beet salad.
Dill potatoes
Honey baked ham

We will serve very light appetizers - artichoke dip and chips, nuts, some cheese. That my kids might not like.
Dessert is chocolate cake, apple pie, mixed fruit cream.

Holy smokes you guys must have a small army coming for dinner!

My 5-year-old and my 8-year-old eat everything. Their favorites for the day will probably be mashed potatoes and rolls, but they’ll have a bit of everything.

My kids will definitely eat the vanilla ice cream I bought to put on top of pie.

Other than that probably some baby carrots and a banana, whatever they can snag that doesn’t need cooking.

My BIL smokes turkey like BBQ restaurant style so my 5 will eat that-- he did not eat previous attempts of turkey.

5- some turkey, at least 2 rolls, MAYBE a bite of mashed potatoes, vanilla ice cream intended for pie, prob a bite of pumpkin pie-- he loves starbucks pumpkin scone so been talking up the pie

2- one bit of a roll, vanilla ice cream intended for pie

to the PP- there will be purse yogurts and cheese sticks hah.

They will fill up on appetizers (cheese and crackers) and then maybe pick at a little mac and cheese during the meal.

My 14year old DD will eat everything like a normal person. My 11 year old DD will eat plain turkey, bread, green beans and sweet potato casserole. We don't serve Mac and cheese but she would love it if we did. She gets it plenty of other times of the year.

When my son was 5-10: a roll, mac and cheese, frozen peas (usually nuked just for him), maybe some turkey and maybe some mashed potatoes. And another roll or three.

Now (teen): mashed potatoes, stuffing, green bean casserole or other veggies if they are not to crazy, some turkey, might surprise us with one other choice, several rolls. Dessert x 5.

He's a good eater generally and eats curries and spices and interesting flavors, but like me, does not mess with what he doesn't like.

Mine eat everything, but one can't eat anything with dairy or nuts. I avoid Brussel sprouts at all costs lol I don't care who made it, I'm not eating it!

15. But includes teens, people with allergies, vegans, vegetarians, meat eaters. Everyone needs to be able to eat something.

My parents hated Brussels sprouts so we never had them and I assumed they were gross. Then had them as an adult and loved them! One of my favorite vegetables.

My 7 year old ate mashed potatoes for the first time in her life! I had no expectation she would, but DH put some on her plate and she tried AND LIKED it. Feels like a bit of manna from heaven.

My 10yo had her tonsils out this time last year so could only eat mashed potatoes and gravy. This year 2 helpings of turkey/gravy, candied yams, and bread. Then pecan pie with cool whip. Also on her plate was stuffing and green bean casserole which went uneaten.
