For fun- what will your kids actually eat for Thanksgiving dinner?

My judgy SIL, who always used to make comments to my DH about what DD eats/doesn’t eat, ended up feeding her toddler some berries and a few crackers.

Youngest/DD6 will eat a tiny bite of everything and then ask for dessert. She will house pie until we pry her from the table.

Reporting for check-in. My projections were spot-on. Someone brought chocolate cake, which DD6 ate instead of pie, but otherwise this is exactly how it went down.

I thought my toddler would eat a roll. He did not.

We got precooked Mac & cheese/Mashed potatoes, frozen cheesecake/pumpkin pie, canned cranberry sauce and corn, vegan hotdogs and corn muffin, kids ate all and loved everything except pumpkin pie.

My 7 year old is generally a great eater but at holidays when he knows i don't care at all, he eats cheese and crackers from the appetizer plate and pumpkin pie. Maybe a few bites of meat. Every other day of the year he eats better than most kids so I dont care but I do find it ironic that the days we are supposed to be eating to celebrate he just doesn't. Kids are weird!

Roasted butternut squash and homemade applesauce.

Everything got finished, distributed. We finished the leftovers because we ate it for breakfast also. Everything done except for the jumbo apple pie from Costco that we are still eating. Holy cow!
