This is like girlfriend in Canada level. LMFAO. |
Look friend, if your house is no longer your primary residence you need to self-report that to SDAT. Most people don’t worry about that too much because when you buy a house and move within Maryland a certification of domicile for homestead exemption is signed with the closing documents and filed with the deed registration. So it gets updated pretty easily. However if you keep your home in MD and move out of state, you would need to contact your county or SDAT directly. With this veteran’s disability exemption it is 100% initiated by the property owner. So they need to file the paperwork to report eligibility themselves and update their eligibility themselves. |
Which still doesn’t get her husband to a 100% rating. There’s no “close enough” here. |
Eh. I haven’t really seen much about it anywhere other than here. She’s a Democrat. In Montgomery County. Running against an unknown. She is going to crush Doan. |
Awesome! Just what the County Council needs more of. Members who are bad at money management. |
Talk about missing the point. The issue is that we’re stuck with someone who has questionable decision making, at best and is thin skinned about transparency. These are bad things for an elected official. Montgomery County is screwed. |
It’s self evident that if he had a 100% rating he would not have bothered to appeal. |
You are not stuck with anyone. You have a choice. Vote for Doan. He actually sounds pretty qualified for the job. He has my vote. The point is that you don’t have to vote for Fani-Gonzalez. There is another option. It’s just that nobody in this County will ever vote for a Republican. Even when the Democrat candidate is clearly inferior. THAT is why Montgomery County so screwed. Because voters aren’t actually voting for candidates. They just vote strictly Democrat at all costs. |
Her husband is not on the council. |
He had 100%, they changed it to 30% then he appealed |
And he lost the appeal. So he’s not 100%. |
Is she not co-equally responsible for marital assets? |
| Obviously any financial issues/liens/debts are fair game if it affects the couple. He is her campaign treasurer too. |
Oh, that's terrible. |
