Lauren’s Brother said that she was worried Jeff was going to reconcile with Mackenzie after the pics came out so clearly there was some love there and a desire to keep the family together on Mackenzie’s part.

So yeah, would a vulnerable spurned wife jump at the chance to prove that she was thriving despite her cheating ex crushing her world? I could see that yes.

He was her kid’s high school teacher. Step-parent relationships can be fraught but by all accounts he was a popular teacher at an ultra elite private school so probably could manage those relationships better than most. It’s too bad-they looked so happy and natural in the pic they shared when they announced they were married. He seemed like the perfect antidote to her fame whore husband.
