The quietness makes me think (1) he f#cked up and doesn’t want to go scorched earth for fear of embarrassing info coming out and (2) he got a very nice NDA + payout.

Or they figured out it wasn’t working in the long run.

Woman leaves miserable marriage, meets nice guy, thinks maybe in the right relationship, marriage could be nice. Gets married, realizes that even marriage to a good guy requires adjustments and compromises she doesn't feel like making (not can't make, just doesn't feel like it), decides to move along.

I'm married to a good guy and if he died, I would not want to get married again. I'm a solitary banana at heart.

I think she got married so quickly to prove she moved on and in a "very different direction" than Jeff. I'm like you, married to a great guy, i will never get married again if he passes away. What's the point?

I doubt it's scandal. Simple as great rebound sex wears off, the fog of lust fades... realize you're a multi-billionaire married to a schleppy retired teacher (with a $40k pension?). Jeff's bimbo is just better at keeping up the lusty theater; she's a lifelong "pro" in that regard, going back to her high school superlative "biggest flirt."

Why would you think she doesn’t have one?

Why do you assume that is my thought?

If you thought she had one you wouldn’t have asked.

I assume she had one, but I don't know for sure.

You're a lawyer, aren't you?

Give any average middle class person access to billions of dollars (via their marriage) and see if they don't be a completely different person. I'm not going to call her money a curse, but it changes and exaggerates the personalities of everyone in her orbit. She shouldn't trust anyone. She is probably paranoid, as she should be. There are con men, con women, and sophisticated intel honeypots trying to get to her constantly. And playing the long game. Same for Jeff. Same for prince Harry.

I don't understand the rush to remarry. It only puts her fortune at risk (even if she is going to give away half of it--leaving her still a huge amount of $$$). I feel bad for their kids. Who wants to watch your parents go through all this.

The fact you even had a thought she might not have one. As if a multi-billionaire would get married without one. I love it.

So, I'm going the traditional role. When you are that rich, the man does not play a major role in your life. Provider of what? Pay for the mortgage? I'm giving away houses and billions.

Gold-digging man takes advantage of a distraught betrayed wife.

She seems like a very nice woman. Narcs are attracted to empathetic, kind people they can manipulate.

Money or not, sometimes it just doesn't work out. I met a great man but I would not marry him because it would ruing what we have.
Good for her for being more optimistic.

She’s quite pretty. No idea why you’d say that.

If you're talking about Meghan, she probably came to the marriage with more money than he did.

Did the founder of Apple's wife ever marry that guy she was dating?

No. She’s busy with her kids, Emerson collective, tons of boards and travel.
Plus after being married to aspie Jobs she’s done with marriage.

They all say that same pr b.s. But correct me if I’m wrong, she hasn’t actually given away anything, bottom line? As in her net worth has GROWN after the giving thus far?

her net worth is down, way down. she's currently worth $27 B ( Source: Forbes) down from a net worth that was hovering around $60B at one point. Second, the information about whether or not she's given anything is easily verifiable, that is if you don't have an appetite for conspiratorial tales as it seems to be the case with you.

Bottom line, as in net AFTER investment gains. The stock market was on fire for two years. Portfolios and Amazon stock exploded in value far faster than she could give it away. That's my point.

You're a blabbibg idiot. Please keep up. Tech stocks have been getting hammered for quite some time now. Whatever gains were made during COVID-19 have evaporated . What are you eveb prattling about ?
