These are all based off tabloid rumors and conspiracies. |
Here’s the thing: the only reason this is considered racist is because we have internalized the idea that an “Afro” is bad hair, out of the bounds of polite society and almost a joke. If Camilla was black, no one would consider it odd for her to be musing about what features a biracial step- grandchild might inherit from their parents. Any discussion of possible African features would be considered racist because she is white. Lots of internalized hate (and not surprising given our nation’s history) triggered Meghan and she was outraged. |
Exactly! She is a terrible person. By extension, she is partially responsible for Diana's death. |
It was also a horrible thing to put her own family through. Her kids getting teased at school because mommy is cheating on daddy with a prince under a huge spotlight. Her son used drugs for a while-not sure if he’s cleaned up since… |
Didn’t that book feel a touch too sympathetic to the Windsors? I’ve already returned it to the library, so I can’t quote anything, but I got the feeling that it was very strongly pushing the narrative of relatable wives from healthy families v. pitiable wives from broken homes. |
Right, both parties were married. “Nice?” |
As soon as one of them were married, it should have ended. Period. Would you expect less from your spouse? The father of your children? |
Camilla is indeed where she wanted to be and apparently didn't care how she got there. |
THIS! Big money bring spent to make Camilla likable before the Queen dies. PR blitz. |
Lol. |
That’s a stretch. Diana would be alive today is she had bothered to put on her seatbelt. |
You can’t blame Camilla for Diana’s death: “In 2019, Dr. Richard Shepherd, Britain's top forensic pathologist, concluded that Diana died of a tiny, badly placed tear in the vein of her lung. "Her specific injury is so rare that in my entire career I don’t believe I’ve seen another," Shepherd wrote in his book, Unnatural Causes, excerpted in The Daily Mail. Shepherd believes Diana's death could have been prevented by one small change: A seatbelt. "Had she been restrained, she would probably have appeared in public two days later with a black eye, perhaps a bit breathless from the fractured ribs and with a broken arm in a sling," Shepherd wrote.” “The only survivor of the crash was Diana’s British bodyguard, Trevor Rees-Jones. He had been wearing a seatbelt. “ https://www.oprahdaily.com/entertainment/tv-movies/a29874597/princess-diana-death/ |
The book is clearly anti Diana, anti Meghan, pro-Camilla and pro Windsor and it STILL managed to make the royal family (and Camilla) seem like vapid, ugly trash. Which just shows you how ridiculously trashy they must be if a sympathetic portrait like that couldn’t make them palatable. |
Hi rabid Megan-stan! Missed you after the other royal threads were terminated for the attacks against the Cambridge children. 😘 |
I’m not “rabid Megan-stan.” None of these people are particularly good for anything other than artificial drama to distract us from impending climate doom and the billionaires stealing the world’s wealth and ruining our lives. |
