I ordered the homeopathy remedy from Amazon for cheap. The dosage is given in the page in the URL. It takes around 2-3 months to clear up. Good point of homeopathy meds is that you can take it with other meds. Follow the instructions and do not drink coffee.

No makeup when she’s sweating and choose sunblock carefully and make sure she removes the sunblock with double cleansing every night. If she or you or dad are Apple shaped or there’s diabetes/met b in the family, be on the lookout for signs of insulin resistance and pcos in the next 5 to 10 years (doesn’t apply if all of you are thin or pear shaped).

I’d actually get a hormone panel done for her. My entire family is skinny and my mom and I both have PCOS. Nothing helped my acne permanently until I got on spiro as an adult. Not saying this is appropriate for a teen, but I’d look on her gyn too.

Yes it’s a requirement the the doctors are pretty strict about. The plus side is my mid teen daughter developed a nice relationship with her gynecologist.
No she’s not sexually active and came off birth control after the Accutane, but now she’s knows the routine so to speak if she needs it later.

No, a teen girl doesn't need to go on birth control, she can also check the "abstinent" box.

WTH planet are you on?

I made an appt for DS. You need three treatments so we won’t know the results for a few months. I took Accutane as a teen and remember it being pretty awful so I’m hoping this works instead.
