For all we know she had a medical issues that she knew from being a nurse on top of her lifelong anxiety. She was 76 and perhaps her quality of life was failing her. I feel horrible for her family. Ashly looks a mess. I see
Wynonna’s daughter is also struggling. Fame is not always what you hope for.

Because she did it just 2 days before her daughter was to receive her greatest professional award. That award is now forever marred now. I agree with the PP that if you understood the family dysfunction you’d understand.

The Hall of Fame induction was for The Judds - ie both of them - not just Wynonna.

Yes, I know. But given that one of The Judds is no longer with us, the pain is left with the living person.

Why do you have compassion for one person about an award but none for the person who was in such devastating pain she felt the need to end her life?

I think the better question is why don’t you have compassion for the survivors that have to now live with Naomi’s decision.

And that suicide is often a final FU. Not always but sometimes.

Did someone in your life kill themself? Because of the relentless a-holes they had to endure?

No.

Yes, we know you have no compassion for the survivors. It was rhetorical.

PP does make you wonder about this.

It is sad that someone would end their life at the age of 76.

She had accomplished so much.
Raised two talented women completely on her own.
Went from rags -> riches and had many fans.

Overcame a deadly virus.
It still existed, but she had gone into full remission.

Mama Judd had a rough life yet had turned lemons into lemonade.
Her family heartaches were well documented.
A Mother who never loved her, the death of her little brother to cancer as well as the difficult issues she had with her eldest daughter.

Life was just never easy but she seemed to always come out on the other side in one piece w/a smile on her face.

Unfortunately her depression was treatment-resistant and she could not beat it. 💔

Horrible but the most effective way to die by suicide. Sorry to think of how traumatic for the family.

I appreciate the level of compassion Ashley shows her mother, despite how awful it must have been to be the one who found her.

Agreed. So very sad.

Kate Spade, Robbin Williams, and so many others . . .

Mental illness is a terrible struggle; unfortunately it is sometimes a fatal disease.

She is in our thoughts and prayers.

Why was Naomi allowed access to firearms if she was suffering from such deep depression?
