| Read a post by Ashely Judd on instagram that her mom Naomi died. She said she was lost to mental illness which I take to mean depression and suicide. I think they were gearing up for another tour soon too. In any case, very sad for the whole family and her fans. They were country legends. |

Daughters statement was that she "died of the disease of mental illness", so one can only assume this is what they mean. |

| Oh my, that’s so sad. I didn’t realize Naomi had depression. Before she began performing she was a nurse and had a needle stick which resulted in Hepatitis (I think). Wasn’t she remarried? I haven’t seen either of the Judd sisters in ages. |

This is really sad. i also struggle terribly with my mental health and it's a battle everyday not to give up.
My heart goes out to her family. May she RIP. |
