Nope. I don't support the current BOE. However, that's not going to convince me to ever vote for a nutjob like Dawn. Maybe do some research before just assuming things. People like you (not doing any research) are how we get into messes with candidates.

I mean she has the unwavering support of the worst of the worst, Bethany Mandel… that is all you need to know about Dawn and her “slate mates.”

Bethany homeschools her kids because she can't afford Jewish private school. So I don't know why she is so obsessed with school board elections

Wow. I don’t know either of the above names individuals. But I think it is beyond gross that you are publicly shaming them, while you yourself remain anonymous. And calling out someone’s religious faith while posting her full name - again, while you remain anonymous? That is incredibly inappropriate and cowardly.

She even has a blue check next to her name on Twitter (@bethanyshondark) . Definitely a public figure. Definitely an outspoken conservative. Definitely a supporter of Wells, Fryar, and Dawn.

I mean she's also a newspaper columnist, she's unquestionably a public figure. The fact that the PP doesn't know who she is was a maybe a sign for them to take a moment to see who people were talking about before commenting, but I guess not.

Public figures or not, it’s gross.

The PP is talking about how she ‘can’t afford a Jewish private school’. How does the PP know that?

The OP started this entire thread to launch a smear campaign against Wells, accusing her of homophobia when there is ZERO evidence of that. Not a single shred of evidence has been posted to support the OP’s claim.

All the while, the OP and the PP remain anonymous. Slinging accusations and making disparaging comments against other moms, without supporting evidence is not a good look. Clearly you disagree, and clearly it’s acceptable, so go on with it if you’re comfortable with your approach.

It's not gross for someone not to be able to afford private school. I can't afford private school for my kids, neither could my parents. There's no shame in that. The only person thinking it's an attack is you.

And Wells attends and leads a homophobic church. It's worth voters knowing what her values seem to be. I'm a Christian, and I would never attend a church like that because it doesn't teach the values I have. It's logical to assume she wouldn't attend a church that didn't share her values either.

Normally, I would look very favorably on church leadership from a candidate, but not if the church isn't affirming. Clearly you and Wells would like me to be in the dark about her affiliation with the church, but I'm glad to know so I can vote for someone who shares my values. Is that bigotry or just when people you think are "liberals" do it?

Although there's a lot of chatter, here very little or any of it concerns the positions of these candidates. Did I miss something?

People know this because she posts publicly about it. How is it gross to state facts she herself has spoken about, about herself? Spoiler: It's not. They can take care of themselves, they don't need an anonymous keyboard warrior like yourself going to bat for them.

None of the stuff posted matters. I'm interested in their position on the issues.

I agree. The OP’s post doesn’t matter. As a voter, all I want to know is where a candidate stands on issues that are important to me.

I think it's shady to brag about working for a million dollar nonprofit but not say it's a church with a history of bigotry.

I would not vote for candidates who think CRT is being taught in schools or have zero experience in education. Fryar's idea of education is to have kids read Dog man books and make a cartoon about it.

He also conveniently leaves out the fact that he hasn't been a classroom teacher in more than 20 years.

Bethany is one of those sanctimonious homeschool parents who won't shut up about homeschooling bring the superior option. I'm not sure why she is over involved in the BOE elections or the reopen school debate except she's pro facisim and wants more racist leadership but even if all of her candidates were elected public school would still be her third ranked option for educating her children

"

Where does it say that her religion believes that "homosexuals are evil"? It does not say that anywhere. It says that her church does not perform same-sex unions, which most Christians churches do not.
