You’re right. Academically it’s more top 15-20. Thanks for pointing that out! |
Eyebrows are most certainly raised with UVA, and in NoVa people treat it like Harvard. |
This is a Reach, same with Umich. Doesn't really impress anyone but maybe if it's Ross. |

31-40
Duh |
NO. T20-T30 would be the top twenty to thirty schools. So the next group would be 31-50/60 |
No, it has to be 25-30 at most. |

Boston University |
Any other BU in that range? |
| BU has become more competitive in recent years. |
USN&WR placed it at 25 this year. Google it. Also placed no 4 under “best public universities in America” |
Any of the so called top 25 that have more than 6000 undergrads are at the very bottom of the list for Presidential Scholar A. And any of the Top SLACs are not even on the list for Presidential Scholar B. And Presidential Scholar C won't even consider a school that isn't Catholic. While Presidential Scholar C wants an open curriculum so is only considering the 8 or so schools that offer that. This whole ranking thing is so dumb. If you focused on USNWR ranking, you are doing it wrong. |
None of those schools hold any interest for my kid, so I don't care how they are ranked. |
What's the reasoning it's getting more interest? Does it have a defined campus or urban and spread in the city? Not sure why this school has not hit our radar -- DS likes Boston. |
Then why are you reading this thread? and commenting? |
