This is key, whether you are buying as an investment or if you think you're buying a bucolic existence and don't want to wake up with a townhouse development or chicken house next door. |
I don’t particularly like middleburg, but man this is vicious. Like you aren’t going to be old one day. I bet that is the worst thing in the world to you, but it will happen to you too! |
+2 our country house is about 15 minutes from old town Warrenton, but you would never know it or feel. it's great to have the proximity to town while feeling we are living on a secluded ranch in the foothills of the mountains. |
Horse people don't dermo. |
WHere is said lady? I think you were looking at the wrong site. THere aren't many people on the real middleburg site. |
The Middleburg website only shows old white people. Some people like that and other people don’t. That about sums it up. |
Don’t forget about Sheila Johnson! |
GOING BACK TO THIS THREAD - WHICH OF THESE QUAINT SMALL TOWNS THAT HAVE NOT BEEN BURNED BY ALL Y'ALL (WARRENTON, PURCELLVILLE, ETC) HAS THE EASIEST COMMUTE AND BEST PUBLIC SCHOOLS ? OR ANY SPANISH IMMERSION PROGRAMS? |
I know of two families that are living temporarily in Pursville with middle schoolers. With the TJ admissions changes, if you want to have good odds of admission, you need to pick a middle school with very little interest.
They know that their kids have an almost 10Xs better chance if admission from Blue Ridge than they do from Carson. |
Middleburg is beautiful!!! I attended a wedding there and fell in love with the town. |
Wow that is intense. |
Not really. People already move internationally to give their child a TJ education. Families and advocacy groups told the FCPS school board that they would do this if they implemented geographic diversity. There are plenty of families that are being strategic about where their child goes to middle school. TJ is the #1 high school in the nation for free. |

Isn’t that near Hollywood casinos? |
