Metropolitan DC Local Politics
| We just bought a home in Fauquier County and while we knew that this area was decidedly purple by Northern VA standards, the Youngkin support here is much higher than we thought. I would say the yard signs are about 75% Youngkin. |
I just typical Trump fashion, you equate rally attendance to votes. How did that work out? |
You thought Fauquier County was purple? LOL! |
| Rs love their signs, but signs do not equal victory. |
so what. those 15 votes won’t matter. |
I’m always saying this!! |
FIFY |

Youngkin rallies always include “stop the steal” lies and one even had people pledging to a flag used in the January 6th insurrection! It’s crazy to me that people are ignoring all of his attacks in our democracy and are ready to vote for him.

No, this guilt by association doesn’t bother me. Two votes for Youngkin in our house. |
Some people probably sense that he’ll actually govern from the center right. |
bull. there is no center right anymore. if the Rs take control of the legislature, you know exactly what they will be voting on first. |
| Signage for Youngkin is less fervent than it was for McDonnell base on my unscientific observation. And McAuliffe is a better candidate than Deeds was and Virginia has been skewing Democratic. But if voters here are equating Youngkin to Hogan in Maryland, that is someone who is moderate and reasonable and merely throwing the base a little of what they want to hear (but will govern from the middle when in office), he will shave off enough of a margin in Nova to win. |
Mmmmmmm... no, not really. Just an observation, referring to the PP's comment that Obama turned out to be a disappointment. Seems that many fellow Virginians agree with me. |
+2. Registered Dems in Fairfax. |

how many times do we have to point out to the trolls that VA does NOT have registration by party?
You make it too easy to spot your lies |
