Like, from girls who legitimately live in the area or from girls who didn't make it in Baltimore and decided to give DC a try?

A mixture of both but many, many girls that did not make the Baltimore team and heard that it was easier to make last year. Not sure this was the case this year with some of the local talent trying out for AA instead of AS

When does AA send out their invites? 48 hours? Roster should be out soon.

Invites are Out!!! Just kidding. Should be out by Wednesday. If you didn’t make the call back game you are not getting an invite

This wasn't the case in the Baltimore tryouts- but only if the evaluators didn't think you should make the cut but you were a favorite of the AA coach

Mistakes happen and that is possible I suppose but that is not the same as saying girls who were not called back are still in contention. Defeats the purpose of the call back which is to focus on the players that they are interested in.

Coaches only had lists of numbers, no names, during the tryout process. So It is a very big possibility that an incorrect number was called/or not called during the call back scrimmage. While the numbers only may help with objectivity, it probably lends it self to a few more mistakes as well

Just to clarify you are talking about the MARYLAND tryouts, correct? Because no DC/VA rosters have been posted. There would be no knowledge of people who’s weren’t in the call back scrimmage vs who was on the roster. And the age groups were at different times and fields, so the “it happened at multiple age groups “ seems to be a bit of a stretch and hearsay

You live in a cave if you don't think these girls know who the top girls on the top teams are in the area. She also mentioned there were also girls on the callbacks that were on the B teams and don't usually make the callbacks. This was an odd event.

That should say - this did not happen at the 2028 Baltimore tryouts. All girls on the roster were also at the callback. If the above story is true, seems like an exception to the rule.
