Bathroom etiquette

Why are people so disgusting in the bathroom? Please do not leave poop smeared all over the seat after you are done. No one wants to see it. And don’t pee all over the floor.

This happens in the ladies room at work. Not all the time but often enough to not be an anomaly. I do not understand how people don't notice the mess they leave behind.

some of the things I see in public restrooms...I'm not even sure how they are physically possible...humans are disgusting and inconsiderate creatures

I put up signs in each bathroom stall asking people to be neater, and check after they finish, etc. They were taken down in less than 24 hours. I don't know why people can't just check.

Because 40 women will come into the bathroom stall you shat all over FIRST, wrinkle their noses and promptly turn to find another stall. If three other women do what you do, the entire bathroom is unusable. The janitor doesn't come to clean until the night time.

I visited a public bathroom in a very nice restaurant the other day and had to walk out, grab DH"s camera and take a photo, then use the men's room it was so bad.

I can't imagine having left a bathroom in that mess. If it were me, I would have gone to management, asked for gloves and multiple cleaners and said "I will take care of this now- trust me, you don't want to see it, just let me take care of it" no matter how sick I was.

It looked like someone had taken a sh!those and turned it on above the wall above the toilet. Like someone whipped down their pants just in time to not sh!t themselves but not at the right angle to NOT hit the wall. The splatter was about 6 inches wide and splash shaped, running straight down the wall. You couldn't not see it. It couldn't have been an oversight. Disgusting- and I'm a nurse who's seen it all.

I think lots of women squat (you know bc omg the public toilet is filthy!) and pee... and then leave their pee all over the seat and floor. Which is what makes public bathrooms so filthy.

OP here. I was talking about public restrooms - specifically in my office. It is so revolting. Who wants to see it all smeared everywhere? How do you get it on the walls/seat everywhere but the inside the toilet?

Our office bathroom had a trail of poop on the floor outside the stalls one day. This is at a govt agency.
