Normal 1st beta at ~2300?

Is this a normal first beta? Should I step away from google? I'm 13dp6dt.
I was so super excited but now I'm a little concerned based on what I have read.

Use this site. http://www.betabase.info/index.html

Id start thinking about it as DPO 6+13 = 19.

UH oh. I looked at that beta site and it's not reassuring.
I'm annoyed because this entire cycle, I've never spoken to my RE, only my nurse. When I asked her if this was high, she just said there is a wide range of HCG numbers.

But this seems unnerving.

Step away from google! My betas were off and I stressed so much- but everything turned out fine. Baby was born happy and healthy. Best wishes!

My first beta at 14dp5dt was 2377. I remember being stressed by the high number after Googling. Turns out it was just a really strong embryo, that is now my toddler DD.
Congrats, OP!

Mine was 2400 at 20 dpo. I was never worried. I am 8 weeks now and I measured the beta one more time wat 6weeks 2 days and it was +- 28000 so it has slowed down a bit on doubling time which I heard is normal. Good luck to us OP

That’s a bit harsh. I’m one of the PPs who also had a high beta. I remember Googling and coming across stories about molar pregnancies and genetic anomalies.

I’m not sure a high beta means a strong embryo. Both of my kids have low first betas (300-400).

This is OP. I think many of us have had some disappointing or scary experiences with fertility that makes it easy to be anxious. I really appreciate those who took the time to help me feel better!!!!

These numbers are meaningless unless they are in the context of how many days past ovulation. My first beta was 116 at 16dpo.

I had a high first beta -- almost 2,400 -- and turned out to be pregnant with twins.

Now they are awesome 2-year-olds.
