Normal 1st beta at ~2300?

I called Shady Grove and they were not concerned, said it was not uncommon. Now, of course, I'm wondering if that was a more significant event. The fetuses measured at 6 weeks, in terms of growth. I'm just really down. I transferred a single PGS normal embryo, so for it to result in twins and then to lose them, I just feel really sad. Thanks to everyone for your support.

I am so sorry, OP.

Thanks everyone! I am going in for the D&C tomorrow and am nervous and sad. I know so many on this board have gone through this too, so my hearts are with all of you as well.

thank you!! I'm in the process of waiting for HCG to go down, then a saline sonogram to make sure everything looks ok, then... fingers crossed

It's not a brag post. A very high first beta can be an indicator of an ectopic. Mine was 3000ish at my first beta, which if I remember correctly was 12-14 days past transfer. They had me go in for an early ultrasound to rule out an ectopic. Fortunately it wasn't and we went on to have a healthy baby girl.

This is actually inaccurate. Ectopic pregnancies generally have LOWER than normal hCG levels.

So very sorry for your loss
