Ummm C. Lavers owns the ecnl… he could say whatever he wants |
US Club isn't ready to reveal what they are planning, if anything? |
Don't know but 2 weeks ago they said a developmental guest was, they thought suppose to be on next podcast, and going to discuss BY vs SY and that guest clearly wasn't on. USSF said they were communicating their final decision by the end of the year. Would be odd for ECNL to announce anything before that I guess. |
| Podcast two weeks ago said they'd have a guest on to discuss more about age change. No mention of it today and no guest....definitely something happening. I just hope US Club put out a statement by the end of the year. |
| ECNL just laid a big ol goose egg. |
|
Not on either side of this, but you guys give ecnl a lot of slack and holy crap you guys love the goal post…
|
| I was hope-full ECNL would do something different and go against the grain but after the podcast and no mention of SY/BY I now think they are just going to fall in line with US Soccer. We will not hear anything till early March now when US Soccer puts info out after their meeting. |
Theres a lot of ECNL hats on this site. The cult is strong here. |
| They did address their relationship with the USSF and that they will be involved in their symposium in February. It sounds like they are both willing to work together, which will benefit youth soccer as a whole. |
TBD?! |
I agree they should have said something. |
Sure but if you think he is in a room making decisions by himself you would be wrong. Ecnl has lots of people working for it and lots of boards. Also have to consult key stakeholders. |
| They need to put a statement out that says no changes for 25-26 so we can stop going in circles and they focus on roll out plan for 26. |
Yea that's probably why he spitballed the change from BY to SY in the July ECNL podcast. Then paid an astrotruf team to hype parents up. Now Lavars is back hiding in his playbox trying to think up the next way to grow marketshare while screwing over small clubs and parents pocketbooks. |
