In reality there is no GOP. It’s a personality cult. Trump can go full 180 on any position and a majority of the GOP will follow immediately, with most of the rest getting on board within a few weeks. He’s shameless about the flip flops, says the unpredictability makes him a better leader and the rubes follow along.
