She’s free! |
I hope Gloria asked her if she was “ok”. Poor Meghan needs lots of looking out for. |
My best friend was in serval classes with Ivanka and in the same study group once. She had nothing but great things to say about her. That was long before the Trump era, and my bf voted for Hillary, fwiw. |
I mean she’s nice and gorgeous and works hard but if you know her more than in passing you would know she couldn’t run a business. |
Here, where? Half my American friends hold multiple passports. I know India makes you renounce other citizenships when you become an Indian citizen, but the US certainly doesn’t! |
If you have say US/ Irish and UK passports due to birth and parentage, the US requires you at age 18 or 21 to decide which one you'll stick with - at that point you're either a US citizen or you're not. |
I also totally know her anonymously and she's brilliant and wonderful. Even Meghan said so in 2014 |
My friend went to Wharton with her and said she was not the brightest person and took the easiest classes possible. |
More like desperate for cash. |
I knew Jared when he was younger and knew several people close to him and he was a nice enough guy. But supposedly events like his dad's prison sentence changed him a lot. |
I went to Penn and knew a bunch of Wharton students. This is easily said for half the class at Wharton. So it says nothing to me. |
Hmm... US citizenship laws specifically prohibits you from accepting a foreign title so to be Duchess of Sussex she'd likely have to renounce her US citizenship. So while I don't have the answer to Markle's status I also wouldn't be jumping to conclusions either about retaining her US citizenship. |
Re: Ivanka and Jared, there are plenty of people who seem normal enough in college but lost their moral compass afterward as they moved up in the working world, became hardened and changed into worse people in their pursuit of success. It happens. |
It doesn't matter, it's been more than 15 years since college and I believe that the trump kids were probably normal enough in college but became worse people with less and less morals as they worked in their dad's businesses and political world. |
No, US law forbids members of the federal government from receiving titles without consent from Congress. Of course she didn't renounce her citizenship, then she would be stateless, since the UK process is a minimum of 5 years (and for her, probably never). https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Foreign_Emoluments_Clause |
